Costuma-se dizer que quando se fecha uma porta abre-se uma janela.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durante este processo de vai e vem, conheci James Seddon aka <\/span>Jsed<\/span><\/a>. Juntos fizemos parte de um curso de Mixing e Mastering dado por Jon Kong (Leftwing : Kody). <\/span>James falou comigo e disse-me que uns amigos estavam a criar uma editora e achava que a minha m\u00fasica encaixaria perfeitamente no que eles queriam desenvolver. <\/span>Perguntou-me se poderia partilhar a minha m\u00fasica com eles. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c9 aqui que entram os <\/span>Nightlapse<\/span><\/a>, famoso duo de Liverpool, Peter e Andy, que recentemente lan\u00e7aram a editora Krank.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pouco tempo depois recebo uma mensagem directa do Peter que diz que gostaria de assinar a faixa. Enviei mais trabalhos, mas a m\u00fasica escolhida estava destinada. \n\nAlertei para o facto de estar \u00e0 espera de resposta por parte da Toolroom mas Peter insiste que queria assinar a Ravelution e digo-lhe honestamente: \u201cSe na pr\u00f3xima semana a Toolroom n\u00e3o der resposta, a m\u00fasica \u00e9 vossa.\u201d<\/p>\n

Assim foi, passado uma semana sem not\u00edcias, n\u00e3o esperei mais.<\/span><\/p>\n

Apesar de ser uma editora recente n\u00e3o tive receio porque senti que o apoio era genu\u00edno e real. Facto que se veio a comprovar porque Nightlapse usaram e promoveram a m\u00fasica em diversas actua\u00e7\u00f5es, uma delas para mais de 20.000 pessoas, Belsonic 2022<\/a>, em Belfast.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nem sempre o caminho que temos em mente funciona.<\/span><\/p>\n

“When God closes a door, he opens a dress.” – Roger Sterling – Mad Men It is often said that one door closes and another one opens. During this back-and-forth process, I met James Seddon aka Jsed. Together we took part in the Mixing and Mastering course given by Jon Kong (Leftwing : Kody). James spoke to me and told me that some friends were starting a label and he thought my music would fit perfectly with their label. He asked me if he could share my music with them. This is where Nightlapse, famous Liverpool duo Peter and Andy, who recently launched Krank , step in. Shortly afterward I get a direct message from Peter saying that they would like to sign the track. I sent more tracks, but the chosen song was destined.\u00a0I warned that I was waiting for a response from Toolroom but Peter insisted that they really wanted to sign Ravelution and honestly I just said to him: \u201cIf I don\u2019t get any answer next week, the music is yours.\u201d After a week without any news, I didn’t wait any longer. Despite being a recent record label, I was not afraid because I felt that the support was genuine and real. A fact that was proven because Nightlapse used and promoted the song in several performances, one of them for more than 20,000 people, at Belsonic 2022, in Belfast. Not always the path we have in mind works. Sometimes there\u2019s something better around the corner waiting for you. Keep the doors open.
